Developer, Edwin C. Watters holds a degree in architecture from the University of Georgia.  With extensive experience in landscape architecture, design and building, he established his own landscape business in 1993.  Ed is active in local organizations including the Rome Jaycees, Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Rome.  He is a board member of the Darlington School, Nature Conservancy Marshal Forest and Rome Floyd River Development.  Ed’s vision and ability to blend the natural and built environments have greatly benefited The Village at Maplewood and those who call it home.

Developer, Jeff Brooks is experienced in all aspects of construction management, including project acquisition, scheduling, subcontracting, purchasing, contract administration and cost control.  He holds a B.S. in Building Science and Construction from Auburn University.  Jeff’s two-plus decade of experience have made him a preferred partner and consultant on diverse projects including construction of the Rome Braves Stadium.  He combines big-picture skills with an impressive commitment to detail.

Property & Sales Manager, Jim Hunter has effectively fulfilled the role as liaison between the developers and the residents since 2007.  Jim manages day-to-day needs of the community and oversees the financial, marketing and sales operations of the property.  Most importantly, Jim is responsive to the individual needs of the residents and ensures they are maximizing "life in the Village."
